We are seeking a skilled Elevator Installer to join our team in Akron. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain elevators, escalators, and other mechanical lifts according to blueprints and building codes. Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functioning. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with elevator systems. Perform preventative maintenance on elevators to ensure safe operation. Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete installation projects on time. Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used. Communicate effectively with customers to address concerns or answer questions about elevator systems. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience as an Elevator Installer or similar role. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems used in elevators. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently. Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment as needed. Valid driver's license.
